Interactive Audiovisual Installation
Concept - Woodcarving - Music - Living Paintings by mastroKristo
Synaesthesia is a rare neurological phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway.
Through the Interactive Installation Solomon’s Case, the artist attempts to create emotional experiences for the spectator, inviting them to learn of the phenomenon of synaesthesia via an interactive experience in which they will be asked to use their sight, smell, touch, hearing, and taste.
Based on the life of the Russian synaesthete, Solomon Veniaminovich Shereshevsky (1886 – 1958).
